Background
Elichirigoity is the author of Planet Management: Limits to Growth, Computer Simulation and the Emergence of Global Spaces (Northwestern University, 1999) and several articles on Financial Technologies of the Self, Classification of Business Information, and Neuroeconomics. He was an Ahmanson Postdoctoral Fellow in the Humanities and Social Sciences at the California Institute of Technology and has been repeatedly included in the List of Teachers Ranked as Excellent at Illinois.
Research/Creative Endeavor
Elichirigoity’s current research interests include global production and consumption of financial news, cultural economy, history of new media, technologies of persuasion, the attention economy, and sociotechnical construction of global spaces.
