Background

Glennon has taught mass communication theory, theories of persuasion, feminist theory, media systems, qualitative methods in communication, verbal communication, business and professional speaking, interpersonal communication, women/men and culture, special topics in popular culture, television criticism, media criticism and a special course in local advertising internship. She also has experience as a television reporter, anchor and producer and as a radio announcer, copywriter and newscaster.

Research/Creative Endeavor

Glennon is interested in persuasion, communication theory and qualitative approaches to media criticism. Currently she is working on a book on advertising literacy.
