Background
Holley worked at WMAQ-AM in Chicago from 1988-2000, where she anchored, produced and developed the "WMAQ Noon Business Hour," which received the 1998 Best Newscast award from United Press International. Also at WMAQ-AM, she was a financial reporter at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and anchored afternoon drive and midday. She served as a financial editor and anchor for CNN Radio, Atlanta, and received the Radio News Woman Achievement award from American Women in Radio and Television. She anchored and reported at KHQA-TV, Quincy, Ill., and worked as news director and anchor at KSD-AM, St. Louis, where she received the Best of Gannett award for outstanding newscast. Most recently she anchored for WGN-AM in Chicago, and anchored streaming video financial webcasts at WebFn in Chicago. She has also been a fellow at the Donald W. Reynolds National Center for Business Journalism at Arizona State University, and she coordinates the annual trip to New York for journalism students interested in exploring careers in the magazine industry.
