In today’s tough job market - graduating seniors need all the help they can get. That's why you need to attend the first annual College of Media Senior Saturday. The all day seminar will provide seniors with the necessary tools to find employment after college as well as gain insights on how to make themselves competitive in a very crowded marketplace.

Industry expert, Murray Gaylord, Vice President of Marketing of NYTimes.com, will discuss the state of the industry, and Brad Karsh, author of "Confessions of a Recruiting Director: The Insider’s Guide to Landing Your First Job," will offer essential career advice. College of Media alums and professionals will be at the seminar to talk about jobs and provide resume and portfolio reviews.

This is not a job fair. This is not your typical career advice. This is specially designed for journalism, advertising and media studies students. By attending this seminar, you will be ready to successfully jumpstart your career.

Registration forms and payment are due Wednesday, March 4, by 5 p.m. Return completed your form and $25 check (made payable to University of Illinois) to the College of Media Student Services Center, 18 Gregory Hall. There will be no on-site registration.
