Accreditation
The Department of Journalism’s undergraduate program is accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications. That means the department participates in a rigorous process of self-study and external review—essentially a quality check—every six years, during which the curriculum, faculty, diversity, facilities and other aspects of the program are evaluated.
